Handwork for restoration projects is one of our specialties. Caning, Hand or Strand (holes drilled in the seat rail) Caning, Blind (holes are drilled only partway into the seat rail) Cane webbing (a groove along the top edge of the seat rail) Caning, herringbone (binder cane woven in a herringbone design on a dowel seat rail) Fiber Rush Paper – Kraft Brown or Antique Gold (dowel seat rail) Natural Rush Natural Twisted Seagrass(as close to real rush as possible) Cattail or Bulrush (the real McCoy) Splint or Flat Reed (dowel seat rail, country-style chair) Danish Cord (brads along the inside edge of seat rail) Shaker (select 2 tape colors and design pattern) Wicker An estimate is necessary for wicker restoration.
